YWW Coaching allows you to submit 1,000 words of your writing to a coach who will look over your work, then spend thirty minutes helping you improve your writing. You can submit your opening scene, a character introduction scene, an action scene…or anything else you want feedback on.
All of our coaches are trained Author Conservatory graduates who understand what professional writing looks like and can provide clarity on how to hone your craft.
Over the call, they’ll work with you on how clear and compelling your characters are in the section, how effective your prose is, how engaging the scene is, and more!

Are There Restrictions on What I Can Submit?
- Devils, demons, or demonic forces
- Swearing or racial slurs
- Abuse, whether physical, emotional, or sexual
- Self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide. Writing that includes depictions of the act of suicide (attempted or successful) should not be submitted.
- Sexual encounters or sexual temptation. Writing that includes explicit sex scenes should not be submitted.
- LGBT+ topics
- Recreational drug use or alcohol abuse
- Wizardry, witchcraft, or sorcery
- Potentially gross descriptions of injuries or medical issues
- Torture, cannibalism, or other heavy violence
- Discussion of hate crimes towards real-life groups and cultures
- Child death, miscarriage, or abortion
- Struggles and issues related to mental health or trauma
