This free online event helps writers in their teens and early twenties polish their work — and actually enjoy the process!
Starting Monday, May 12, 2025
Ever feel like helping your child enjoy the editing process feels like pulling teeth?
What if they could learn from professional authors who helped them both edit more effectively--and even have fun while doing so?
We've helped hundreds of writers achieve this through Crazy Editing Week.
Your child will have a blast competing on a team with other writers while editing whatever they like--whether a school paper, a novel, a short story, etc.
They'll learn new techniques from editing experts.
And they'll finish the week with writing they're proud of.
During each day, your child will follow these three steps:
Watch 10-minute training videos on easy, robust techniques your child can use to improve their writing.
We'll group your child with other writers who compete as a team to see how much they can collectively edit their personal writing projects.
Earn prizes that will help your child grow as a writer. The more everyone edits, the more prizes they get.

Editing turns mediocre writing into something beautiful.
Yet a lot of young writers don't know how to catch their grammatical errors--or particularly enjoy looking out for them.
But what if published authors taught your child the tricks they use to polish their books?
What if your child had support from other young writers?
And what if through competitions and prizes, editing actually became fun?
That's what Crazy Editing Week is all about.
Are you ready to sign your child up for this challenge?
